Arsenal Legend Concerned about Former Celtic Defender Kieran Tierney

The situation of Kieran Tierney, the former Celtic player, is not great as per Ian Wright. The former England footballer reckons it will be difficult for the Hoops academy graduate for returning to the team because of the form of summer signing Oleksander Zinchenko. Kieran Tierney has made just 4 starts for the North London club until now this season since they have become a part of a successful campaign that sees them at the English League’s top.

He spoke to the Premier League Production and said he has made a significant difference to Arsenal. Not only did the club have to get cover for Tierney that has worked out not great for the former Celtic left-back. However, to get somebody who can play in the midfield, too, if he gets to look where he is playing. He says that it is not easy to find anyone who will man-mark the left-back where he is starting from.

In the meantime, Charlie Nicholas, Celtic great has praised Ange Postecoglou, claiming the effect the Australian had on the club has allowed the Hoops a step ahead of others in Scotland. Since the arrival of Yokohama F Marinos in 2021 summer, he signed a completely new team and has raised the game of existing players, like Greg Taylor and Anthony Ralston.
The former player from Scotland states that the success of Postecoglou in the transfer market is a reason behind he has success since he becomes the boss of Hoops. He, while writing a Daily Express column, said that Ange Postecoglou and Celtic took a step ahead just now, both in the title race for the Premiership and also in the dealings of the transfer window.
Hoops have signed most of their targets and appear to be well down the road with the rest of the January business.
