Celtic show interest in Brighton forward

As per the recent reports, Celtic has been showing interest on the Brighton and Hove Albion striker Florin Andone. He could be a player who will be worth his money and will fit right into the team. There may be doubts regarding his place in the team, as Odsonne Edward has not left. But it seems like Andone will be fitting right by his side of the team.

The Romanian striker joined the Brighton on May 2018 by signing a five-year deal and the transfer money is unknown. He made 26 appearances for the club by scoring four goals. He was later given in loan to Galatasaray of Turkish Super Lig. Before the suspension of football activity, he has played eight games and scored a couple of goals. He has also played for the national team of Romania for 25 games by scoring two goals. He was present on the team for UEFA Euro 2016.

Before playing for Brighton, he was on the club Deportivo La Coruna and it was here his style of play was recognised. He as a striker uses wider space he has been given and he is able to play along with every position in the front line.
Andone is a relentless player which makes him in the pitch a good runner and only stops when he a good opportunity to pass. He is also on good on tackling the ball from opposition players. A disturbing fact is he hasn’t scored many goals in any of the clubs he has played. Maybe this will change when he arrives at Glasgow where he will be having plenty of opportunities to score goals.

The player is a little bit aggressive in the field which needs to be taken care of. He, as a striker, has more to him than scoring goals. The value of the player is speculated to be £5.25 million if Celtic decides to bring him over there is a huge chance of him becoming audience’s favourite.
