CELTIC INTERESTED IN SIGNING NEWCASTLE WINGER THIS SUMMER

There are a lot of clubs currently circling Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy and he may not be playing his football at the St James' Park next season as long as any club can pay what the Tyneside club are demanding for the attacker. As many as five different clubs have already shown interest in Jacob and even though there has not been any official bid made yet, there remains an equal amount of strong interest from these different clubs.

In a season that has not gone quite as planned for Newcastle, Jacob has been one of the club's few shining lights so far this season and he has been handsomely rewarded by being linked to a couple of clubs in the summer. The clubs that have so far shown their willingness to sign the winger include Premier League sides Leeds, Burnley, Southampton, Championship club Watford, and Scottish Premiership outfits Rangers and Celtic.

All of the mentioned clubs want to start their summer businesses early and have all identified the 26-year-old as the ideal candidate to lead their attack next season. Jacob is expected to flourish if he joins any other club next season as he has the quality and talent he needs t play excellently well at any of the clubs mentioned previously. His direct play attributes have also earned him a lot of recognition and with the fact that he is also a pacy winger, he would be very useful in a team that plays counter-attacking football.

Celtic are the side to have shown the most interest in the forward after inquiring about his availability this summer from Newcastle. According to the Scottish Sun, they have also asked how much it would cost to lure the midfielder to Scotland. He could be available for a fee of around £15 million.
