Mulgrew thinks that Critics should stop being so harsh

Celtic’s Charlie Mulgrew says that critics should not be giving a hard time for manager Ronny Deila, who has struggled to get results in his first few months at the club. The Norwegian was appointed as the replacement for Neil Lennon in the summer. He promised vast improvements over the previous regime, which was one of the most successful in the clubs history. The appearance of the Champions League knockout stages is seen as one of the crowning achievements of Lennon during his spell at Celtic. Deila faced with immediate disappointment after being knocked out of the Champions League at the qualification stages.

Celtic In disappointment

Celtic have undoubtedly been left disappointed with their poor run of form in recent weeks. A team that was comfortably expected to lead the Scottish Premier League from the start finds themselves in the fourth place after losing a number of matches and dropping points in others. This has led to a lot of speculation about manager Ronny Deila’s future at the club, which may be surprising for many given that he was appointed only a few months ago. However, the Norwegian manager says that he is keen on kickstarting the campaign after a 2-1 win over Aberdeen last weekend.

Del Piero Interested In Celtic FC

Alessandro Del Piero, the former Italy international, has hinted that he is interested in making a move to Celtic FC.

Piero played for the A-League club Sydney FC until the last season. At this point of time, he is a free agent. He is approaching 40 now, but, he is not willing to call it a day. He wants to keep playing at the professional level until his body supports him.

There were rumours of Piero being in touch with Celtic FC in the summer of 2012 as well, but, the deal had not got finalised between the two parties back then and the Italian forward ended up landing in Sydney.

Sevilla Interested In Securing Van Dijk

Sevilla FC is interested in securing the services of the Celtic goalkeeper Virgil Van Dijk. The officials of the La Liga club are believed to be very impressed with the outing of the Dutchman, both in the Scottish Premiership as well as in the European Cup of late.

According to the reports, Sevilla is ready to spend an amount in the region of 5 million Pounds for Dijk.

Dijk had made his way to Celtic last summer. The Scottish top tier Champions had bought him from FC Groningen after paying 2.2 million Pounds as transfer fee.
