CELTIC NEED GROUPS STAGE WIN

The financially stricken club Rangers were recently relegated from the Scottish Premier league after falling into administration. Cristiano Ronaldo carries Portugal

It was a game dominated from start to finish by the Portuguese, but one in which they were consistently frustrated by the well-supported Czechs and then the woodwork. WHY I HATE CELTIC

Celtic, that great European side. They are one of the select few to have won the European Cup, admittedly it was in 1967 and other clubs to have won the trophy on a single occasion include Aston Villa, Steau Bucharest, Hamburg and PSV Eindhoven.

In fact that says it all. They are no bigger on the European stage than any of those clubs. Yet they insist that because they were the first British side to win the trophy they ought to be spoken of alongside three times champions Manchester United and five times winners Liverpool.

PENALTY MISS

It's always good to watch a penalty miss from anyone in a Celtic shirt, but its particularly satisfying when its Anthony Stokes, and it happens in the Scottish Cup Semi Final!

You would have thought he'd have time to practice hitting the ball anywhere apart from at the goalkeeper (what does he do all day?!) but by the looks of it he doesn't!

Shame they still went on to win :(

Keane hooses Wolves over celtic

After a successful spell in Scottish football since joining the Bhoys on a six-month loan, Keane has been widely tipped to remain at Parkhead - especially with competition increasing for a place in the Spurs first-team.

However, with Celtic manager Tony Mowbray having now left the club, Keane is being linked with a move back to England - and could become Wolves' marquee signing when the transfer window reopens.
